equal a 10, 14, 1X, 5X.
None use the same measurements!
You
should ALWAYS check the actual measurements
in the listing of an item when purchasing online.
How
to determine Your actual measurements:
Take
your favorite comfortable fitting garment that matches
what you are interested in (jeans, top, jacket) and lay
it out flat on a bed or table top. Take a measuring tape
or ruler and get matching measurements for the chart below.
Consider if the garment you are measuring has any give
or stretch and if the garment you are interesting in has
it as well.
Some
of our clothing is sized for juniors.
Some items may run smaller than expected based on the
labeled size.
NEVER go by the LABELED size for Fit.

Check
actual measurements provided in the individual auctions
for the individual pieces.

around your body, under your arms and over the fullest
part of your bust. |

Hold
measuring tape at your waistline and measure around
your body, regular is just below belly button, low
waist is lower (check rise to see how high). Easier:
lay a comfortable pair of jeans flat, measure across
the waist band along the top and multiply that by
2 (so if it measures 15 inches then you need 30 inch
waist band). |

Hips |
Measure
around the fullest part of your body, placing the
tape about midway between your crotch and belly button.

Inseam |
Take
a pair of pants that fit you well and lay them flat.
Measure the distance along the inseam between the
crotch and the leg hem or have someone measure your
body down to determine the lenght. |

Rise |
Measure
from the crotch seam up to the button. Low rise pants
fall several inches below your belly button, regular
waist is at or just below your belly button. |
If
you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of
string and a ruler. When measuring, remember to keep the
tape comfortably loose.
Stretch
= Some material has a natural stretch or is made specifically
to stretch. With stretch fabrics you usually have about
a 2" give which means you can usually wear the garment
with a snug fit but still have room to bend and move.
We will state if the garment has stretch and how much
it can comfortably stretch.
No
Stretch = Some garments have little to no stretching.
With these you need to add an inch or two for moving and
bending room.
Sizing
differences = We provide the manufacturers labeled
size as well as a 'Fits Like' and actual measurements.
There is no standardized sizing guidelines that manufacturers
have to follow so there is a definite float between actual
size and labeled size. Please check your measurements
before bidding to be sure the garment will fit you comfortably.

for the item you are interested in are in the listing
for that item. This chart is provided to help you determine
our FITS LIKE sizing and what is appropriate for you.
